Getting School’d Season 2 – Crankbaits (Exclusive to WFN – World Fishing Network) Using crankbaits to search for smallmouth bass on Lake Erie and cover water. Get information on the proper rod, reel and line to up your odds.
I go in late april early may and get them while they’re still in the tributaries the best place to try is the mouth of? 18 mile creek you? should use any 3-4″ stickbait Rapala x-raps seem to work the best you can catch up to 20 in a 3 hr day
im going fishing at my friends lake and he has small and large mouth bass me and my friend used crankbaits orange with black striped crankbait but they didnt but then a we texas riged a worm plastic still? didnt bite. what color crankbait should i use or lure? PS. it’s murky water
I love shallow crankbaits! I live? here in Washington and this week its going to be about in the upper 80′s and from experience that is way out the smallmouth bass comfort zone. Im thinking of trying to find dropoffs and deep boulders.. One thing though im 13 and dont have a boat so i have to fish from shore..The lake does have largemouth but not many from where i fish. So any tips would be great! :)

You’re probably going to want at least an 80 ln thrust motor but I would highly recommend a 101 lb thrust with that big of a boat.
If you can mount on the bow, go with a Fortrex 101 and get the 62″ shaft. That will? keep your motor in that water and give you plenty of thrust to move you around.
Im going to move to Ohio in a year and need to know what my best bet for? a min koda trolling motor. I have a 22 foot aluminum boat but can fish off the front for walleye and small mouth. Thanks
Bass Pro XPS 100% Fluorocarbon. I have actually had really good luck with that, Berkley 100% Fluoro and P-Line? 100% Fluoro. Those are the 3 brands I use most frequently.
